Surgery or IVF? study seeks best path to pregnancy for endometriosis patients

NCT ID NCT04610710

Summary

This study aimed to determine whether surgery or IVF fertility treatment works better for helping women with deep endometriosis become pregnant. Women who wanted to conceive were randomly assigned to either have surgery first or go straight to IVF treatment. The trial was terminated early and enrolled only 38 participants, so results are limited.
