Scientists hunt for chemical clues in breast tissue to unlock cancer link
NCT ID NCT07411651
First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study aims to confirm whether everyday chemicals called endocrine disruptors are linked to breast cancer. Researchers will measure these chemicals in urine, hair, and breast fat tissue from 42 women scheduled for breast lesion removal. They will also look for biological markers that show how the body responds to these chemicals. No treatment is given; the goal is to better understand the connection between environmental exposures and breast cancer.
