Doctors reveal the Heart-Wrenching choices behind ending a Child's life support
NCT ID NCT07401420
Summary
This study aims to understand how intensive care doctors in Sweden make the difficult decision to stop or not start life-sustaining treatments for critically ill children. Researchers will interview 30 specialist physicians about their experiences, attitudes, and the challenges they face during these end-of-life situations. The goal is to gather knowledge about the decision-making process, not to test a new treatment.
