New hope for kids with rare calcium disease: encaleret trial launches

Summary

This study tests a drug called encaleret in children (birth to 17 years) with autosomal dominant hypocalcemia type 1 (ADH1), a rare genetic condition causing low blood calcium and high urine calcium. The goal is to see if the drug can safely restore normal calcium levels in the blood and urine. About 28 children will take part in this open-label trial across multiple centers.
