New drug trial aims to ease heart failure in rare amyloid disease

Summary

This study tests whether Enavogliflozin, a diabetes drug, can safely improve heart-related symptoms and daily function in 68 adults with amyloid cardiomyopathy. Participants will take the drug and a placebo in two separate periods to compare effects. The main goal is to see if the drug helps patients feel better and walk farther over 12 weeks.
