NCT ID NCT06528262
First seen May 14, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study is testing whether a drug called Enavogliflozin, currently used for diabetes, can help prevent atrial fibrillation (an irregular heartbeat) from coming back after a catheter ablation procedure in people who also have heart failure. About 390 adults aged 19 to 85 will be randomly assigned to receive either the drug or a placebo for one year. The main goal is to see if the drug reduces the rate of AF recurrence between 3 months and 1 year after the procedure.
