Scientists probe mysterious link between teeth, kidneys, and hardened arteries
NCT ID NCT07285421
Summary
This study aims to better understand how a rare genetic disorder, enamel renal syndrome, affects kidney function and causes harmful calcium deposits in blood vessels. Researchers will compare detailed test results from 30 adults with the condition to results from healthy volunteers. The goal is to learn more about the disease process, not to test a new treatment.
