New drug aims to stop dangerous breathing lapses after surgery

Summary
This study tests a new drug called ENA-001 to see if it can prevent breathing problems that sometimes happen after major surgery. About 200 adults having planned surgery will receive either the drug or a placebo through an IV. The goal is to keep breathing normal and safe after the breathing tube is removed.
