First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated Apr 24, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study tests an experimental drug called ENA-001 to see if it can prevent breathing problems that sometimes happen after major surgery. About 200 adults having planned surgery with general anesthesia will receive either the drug or a placebo. The goal is to measure how well the drug keeps breathing stable right after the breathing tube is removed.
