New chair treatment aims to stop leaks after prostate surgery
NCT ID NCT07580404
First seen May 14, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tests whether a chair called Emsella can reduce short-term stress urinary incontinence (leaking urine when coughing or sneezing) that sometimes happens after prostate surgery for an enlarged prostate. About 30 men with enlarged prostates will receive Emsella treatments before and after their surgery. Researchers will track their symptoms using questionnaires to see if the chair helps them regain bladder control faster.
