Zap your workout: can electrical stimulation make exercise feel easier?
NCT ID NCT07394595
Summary
This study looked at how adding electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) to arm or leg cycling affects how hard exercise feels and people's energy levels. Researchers compared 120 healthy, active young adults doing both types of exercise with and without EMS. The goal was to understand if EMS could make workouts feel less tiring, which might help people stick with exercise programs.
