Summary
This study tested an 8-week online program called EMPATIA for teenagers aged 12-18 who had mild mental health symptoms. 158 teens were split into two groups: one used the program, the other received usual care. The goal was to see if the online program could reduce overall psychological distress and prevent the onset of mental disorders. Researchers measured symptoms and functioning through questionnaires and interviews.
