Summary

This study is checking how safe and well-tolerated the diabetes drug empagliflozin (taken with or without metformin) is in Pakistani adults with type 2 diabetes. About 2000 people aged 18-65 with poorly controlled blood sugar will be followed for 6 months. The study will track side effects like low blood sugar, infections, and dehydration, and also measure how well the drug controls blood sugar and weight.
