Tapping away fear: can a simple technique ease Post-Surgery anxiety?
NCT ID NCT06816576
Summary
This study tested whether a mind-body technique called Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) could help reduce death anxiety in patients who had surgery for cancer. Researchers worked with 120 adults who had undergone cancer-related operations. One group learned and practiced EFT, while a comparison group received only standard care, to see if the technique made a difference in their anxiety levels.
