Tapping away surgical fears: can a simple technique calm cancer anxiety?

NCT ID NCT06816576

Summary

This study tested whether a mind-body technique called Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) could help reduce fear of death in patients recovering from cancer-related surgery. Researchers worked with 120 adults who had recent surgery, teaching some patients EFT while others received usual care. They measured anxiety levels before and after to see if the tapping technique made a difference.
