First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study looked at whether Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), a therapy that involves tapping on specific body points, can help reduce pain and anxiety after total knee replacement surgery. 80 adults having their first knee replacement were included. Researchers measured pain and anxiety levels on the first and second days after surgery to see if EFT made a difference.
