Summary
This study tests if Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) can reduce symptoms of Prolonged Grief Disorder (PGD) in adults who have lost a loved one. 128 participants will be randomly assigned to either 8-10 weekly therapy sessions or self-help exercises. The study will measure grief, mood, and well-being over 12 months to see if EFT provides lasting relief.
