Can your symptoms predict your fate in the ER?
NCT ID NCT05400707
Summary
This study aims to understand how well a patient's symptoms and a doctor's decisions during emergency room triage can predict their health outcomes. Researchers will observe over 6,400 adult patients at a Swiss hospital, recording their symptoms and the factors doctors consider when making treatment choices. The goal is to see if this information can better predict who might need hospitalization, intensive care, or who is at risk of dying within 30 days.
