Summary

This study aims to improve how emergency departments assess patient risk by testing a new tool. Researchers will observe over 6,400 patients at a Swiss hospital, recording their symptoms and tracking outcomes like hospital admission and survival. The goal is to help doctors make better decisions about who needs urgent care versus who can be safely sent home.
