First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study looked at 150 adults with thoraco-lumbar spine injuries to see if adding an emergency MRI to a standard CT scan changes how doctors manage treatment. The goal was to find hidden fractures and see if the injury classification changed. Results will help decide if routine emergency MRIs are useful for these injuries.
