Skip the ER? study tests bringing emergency care to your door
NCT ID NCT06299774
Summary
This study tested whether providing emergency medical care at a patient's home is a safe and effective alternative to a traditional hospital emergency room visit. Researchers compared the two approaches for 229 adults who needed urgent care. The goal was to see if home-based care could reduce hospital visits and keep people in their homes more often after an emergency.
