First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study tested a new contrast agent called Elucirem (gadopiclenol) for MRI scans of brain gliomas. It involved 138 adults with new or returning brain tumors. The goal was to see if Elucirem produced clearer images than the standard contrast agent, Dotarem, when measuring blood flow in the brain. Results showed that Elucirem provided good or excellent image quality in most patients.
