NCT ID NCT05121090
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests a 2-year personalized program for overweight children aged 6-7 that includes diet advice, physical activity, psychology, and relaxation techniques. The goal is to reduce their body mass index (BMI) and prevent obesity. Researchers will compare results to a historical group of similar children who did not receive the program.

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only, not medical advice or a prediction.
- Active substance
- educational program (diet, physical activity, psychology, and sophrology)
- What this could lead to
- If it works, this could provide an effective, personalized approach to prevent obesity in at-risk children, reducing long-term health problems.
- What could go wrong
- This is a single study with a historical control group, not a randomized trial. The program is intensive and may not be scalable or effective for all children.
