First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study tests whether getting a flu vaccine outside of flu season can lower inflammation in the arteries of people who recently had a heart attack. Researchers will compare the vaccine to a placebo in 90 adults. The goal is to see if the vaccine helps control ongoing artery inflammation, which could reduce future heart risks.
