First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study tests whether a computer alert that pops up when a doctor tries to prescribe too much digoxin can reduce the number of older patients getting unsafe doses. About 6,000 hospitalized patients aged 65 and older will be included. The goal is to prevent side effects and overdoses from this heart medication.
