First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 32 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding gentle electrical stimulation to standard breathing therapy can improve lung function and reduce restless leg symptoms in people with COPD. About 60 participants will receive electrode patches on their chest and leg muscles during rehabilitation sessions. The goal is to see if this extra stimulation helps them walk better and breathe more easily.
