First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 32 times

Summary

This study tested whether sending mild electrical signals just under the skin could improve symptoms of atrial fibrillation (AF) by controlling heart rate. 46 adults with symptomatic paroxysmal AF who did not respond to standard treatments participated. The approach aims to reduce AF burden and improve rate control without long-term medication.
