Toothbrush showdown: which works better for Kids' braces?

NCT ID NCT07196969

Summary

This study aimed to see if electric or manual toothbrushes work better for keeping gums healthy and controlling bacteria in children wearing dental space maintainers (a type of orthodontic appliance). Researchers randomly assigned 68 children, aged 6-12, to use either an electric or manual toothbrush. They measured gum health and bacteria levels in saliva over three months to compare the results.
