Zap and balance: can electric therapy fix wobbly ankles?
NCT ID NCT06204861
Summary
This study tested whether a special electric therapy (CRET) combined with balance training could help people with chronic ankle instability. Researchers worked with 31 active adults who had unstable ankles, splitting them into groups that received either balance training, the electric therapy, or both. The goal was to see if this combination could improve ankle function, stability, and speed up recovery better than other approaches.
