First seen Jan 27, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study will follow 550 patients aged 75 and older who are hospitalized with a heart attack or unstable angina. Researchers will measure frailty and other health factors to see if they can better predict who will have complications or die within six months. The goal is to help doctors choose the best treatment—either a procedure to open blocked arteries or medication alone—for each older patient.
