Summary
This study looked at two types of resistance training—elastic bands and free weights—in people recovering from coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG). 42 patients in phase 2 of recovery were followed to see which method better improved their physical function, lung health, and quality of life. The goal is to find a safe and effective way to help heart surgery patients regain strength and independence.
