First seen Dec 10, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study tests whether a daily injection of elamipretide is safe for healthy older adults aged 65 to 80. Participants will receive the drug for 4 weeks, with check-ins and tests to monitor side effects and changes in blood markers, walking distance, and thinking skills. The goal is to gather early safety data, not to treat any disease.
