Summary

This study tests a drug called elafibranor in about 350 adults with primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC), a rare disease that scars the bile ducts in the liver. The goal is to see if the drug can slow disease progression and improve survival compared to a placebo. Participants will take one tablet daily for several years and have regular check-ups, blood tests, and scans.
