Summary
This study tested a non-invasive lung imaging method called Electrical Impedance Tomography (EIT) in 20 very preterm infants. Researchers wanted to see if EIT measurements could predict which babies would successfully stop breathing support by 32-33 weeks of age. The goal is to develop better guidelines for respiratory care in premature infants.
