Tapping away pain: EFT may ease Post-C-Section anxiety
NCT ID NCT06999564
First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study tested whether Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), a type of tapping therapy, can help first-time mothers feel safer, less anxious, and have less pain after a planned cesarean section. Sixty women were split into two groups: one received EFT in the first 24 hours after surgery, and the other received standard care. The goal was to see if this simple, drug-free technique could improve recovery.
