Summary

This study tested a specific massage technique (effleurage) to prevent or reduce stretch marks in first-time pregnant women. 42 women aged 20-30 with a healthy BMI participated, starting massage at week 17 until birth. The goal was to see if this simple, at-home method could lessen the severity of stretch marks.
