Can brain scans predict Kids' Post-Surgery confusion?

Summary
This study looks at why some children become confused and agitated after waking up from anesthesia, a condition called emergence delirium. Researchers will monitor the brain waves of 400 children under 16 having planned surgery to see if patterns in brain activity can predict this confusion. The goal is to better understand the causes and find ways to prevent it.
