New approach tested to reduce dangerous swelling in hospital patients
NCT ID NCT07305870
Summary
This study is testing whether using a leg compression device and gentle movement exercises can reduce swelling in the limbs of patients in intensive care. Researchers want to see if these treatments help improve patients' heart rate, blood pressure, and overall stability. The study involves 118 adult patients who are already hospitalized in critical care units and have swelling in their legs.
