Life support Double-Trouble: researchers test safer kidney hookup

Summary
This study aims to find the best way to connect kidney dialysis to a life support machine called ECMO. It will compare connecting the dialysis machine directly into the ECMO circuit versus using a separate connection. The main goal is to see which method keeps the dialysis filter working longer without increasing risks like bleeding or infection.
