NCT ID NCT04788602
First seen Feb 25, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a heart ultrasound (called TTE) can help prevent another stroke in people who have already had one. About 2000 stroke patients will be tracked to see if those who get the ultrasound have fewer repeat strokes. The goal is to find out if this common test actually changes treatment and improves outcomes.
