Simple ECG angle could forecast fate of brain bleed patients
NCT ID NCT07196891
Summary
This study looked at whether a measurement from a standard heart test (ECG), called the frontal QRS/T angle, could help predict which patients with a severe type of brain bleed (aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage) would survive and recover well. Researchers analyzed data from 354 adult patients to see if this angle was linked to the risk of death within 28 days and to long-term neurological function. The goal was to find a simple, early clue to help doctors understand a patient's prognosis.
