This study looked at 79 male soccer players aged 18-30 to compare two types of resistance training: accentuated eccentric (focus on lengthening muscles) and concentric (focus on shortening muscles). Each group trained three times a week for eight weeks. The goal was to see which approach better improves aerobic capacity and leg strength. Results help guide training programs for athletes.
