First seen Jan 31, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study tests a new treatment for Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) infection that can occur after a stem cell transplant. The treatment uses specially engineered immune cells (EBV-TCR-T cells) to find and attack the virus. About 18 adults who have had a stem cell transplant and still have EBV in their blood will receive the cells by IV. The goal is to see if the treatment is safe and can clear the virus.
