First seen Mar 13, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study tests a newer biopsy method (EBUS-TBMC) against the standard needle approach (EBUS-TBNA) for diagnosing tuberculosis in chest lymph nodes. About 108 adults with suspected TB will undergo both procedures during one session to see which detects TB better and is safer. The goal is to improve diagnosis accuracy and speed up treatment.
