First seen Mar 13, 2026 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study tests a newer biopsy method (EBUS-TBMC) against the standard needle approach (EBUS-TBNA) for diagnosing tuberculosis in swollen chest lymph nodes. About 108 adults with suspected TB will get both procedures during one session to see which finds more signs of infection. The goal is to improve diagnosis while keeping the procedure safe.
