Could an antibody drug block the ebola vaccine? new study aims to find out.

NCT ID NCT05202288

First seen Jan 27, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study looks at whether giving an Ebola vaccine (Ervebo) together with an antibody drug (Inmazeb) still protects people from Ebola. The vaccine takes time to work, while the antibody acts fast, so combining them might offer better protection. About 132 healthy adults will take part to see if the vaccine's immune response is affected by the antibody.
