New study brings eating disorder care to veterans via virtual therapy

Summary

This study aims to make eating disorder treatment more accessible for veterans and underrepresented Americans with binge-eating disorder or bulimia. Participants will receive either therapist-led or self-help cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) through virtual sessions. The goal is to reduce binge eating and improve mental health, using VA telehealth technology to reach people anywhere.
