App-based education aims to boost cholesterol control after heart attacks

Summary
This study tests whether a patient education app can improve awareness and help people who have had a heart attack reach their LDL cholesterol targets. About 240 patients across 24 hospitals will be split into two groups: one gets the app plus usual care, the other gets usual care alone. Researchers will check cholesterol levels after 12 months to see if the app makes a difference.
