First seen May 14, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study looked at whether getting treatment for obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) sooner helps people use their breathing machine (PAP) more consistently. Over 100 adults with OSA were randomly assigned to either early or usual care. The goal was to see if faster care leads to better machine use, less daytime sleepiness, and higher quality of life after three months.
