First seen Mar 21, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study tested whether adding specific shoulder blade strengthening exercises (lower trapezius and serratus anterior) early in rehab after rotator cuff surgery improves shoulder movement. Thirty adults aged 30-50 with small to medium tears participated. The goal was to see if this accelerated program helps the shoulder blade rotate better during arm lifting.
